A beauty studio with an emphasis on sustainability and natural products has opened in Watlington.

Beauty at No.11, owned by 23-year-old Georgina Eales, opened on Tuesday, May 14.

Ms Eales said: "I won’t stock anything I wouldn’t use on my own skin - all our products are vegan, hypo-allergenic, cruelty-free, and environmentally-friendly."

She added: "I’m determined that every customer who visits Beauty at No.11 should leave feeling thoroughly relaxed, refreshed and indulged.

"The personal service and little touches I’ll be offering will set me apart from the ‘big salon experience'."

The studio will aim to cater to hypo-allergenic nail needs by being the only studio within a 25-mile radius to offer Hona products.

These products do not contain known allergens such as HEMA and HPMA.

Ms Eales said: "If you use a quality product like Hona, properly applied, gel nail varnish doesn’t pose a risk to your nail health.

"In fact, it has been shown to be beneficial for people with brittle nails."

Ms Eales has experience working with beauty industry leaders Clinique and Charlotte Tilbury.

She said it had always been her ambition to open her own studio and that her industry experience had given her ideas about how to set her business apart.

She added: “For facials and other similar treatments, we will use Tropic, a high-quality skincare range, that is 100 per cent vegan, freshly made in the UK and contains only pure plant-based ingredients."
