Oxford is bracing for the action-filled Wood music festival this weekend.
Events include concerts on two stages, over 40 activities and workshops, plus engaging discussions and interviews.
Hugh Warwick is a hedgehog-loving ecologist and author, and he is hosting the Kindling section at the festival which is a space for kindling ideas and revolution.
Mr Warwick's past guests include Peggy Seeger, George Monbiot, Nell Frizzell and Robin Ince.
One of the biggest names on the music stage over the weekend is Stornoway, a band connected to the natural world.
Doors open 3pm on May 17 with music starting at 6pm.
Workshops and activities kick off 8am the following morning.
The festival takes place at Braziers Park Camp Field, Ipsden, Wallingford, OX10 6AN.
