POLICE have closed off a road in Downley following a major incident this evening.
A cordon has been put in place in School Close tonight (May 10) as police carry out investigations into an alleged crossbow incident.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a man with a crossbow and a police officer was reportedly shot.

Footage shared to the Bucks Free Press shows armed police with a dog handler at the scene.
Armed police can be heard shouting 'have you been shot' in the video.
Thames Valley Police has not confirmed any details yet.
