AN elderly man has been found guilty of sexually abusing two children, one when he was a teenager and the second when he was in his 60s.

Dennis Hawkins, 68, of Saxon Court, Wessex Way, Bicester, was on trial at Oxford Crown Court where a jury heard he assaulted a young boy in the 1970s, followed by a young girl in the late 2010s.

For the first victim, he was charged with seven counts of indecent assault with a male person between December 1970 and December 1978, two counts of indecency with a child under 14 between the same dates, one count of indecent assault with a male between December 1973 and 1978, and two counts of indecency with a child under 14 between the same dates.
