A TRIAL date has been set for a dog owner after his Staffie allegedly injured two people at a park in Didcot, hospitalising them.

Dominic Jofirisi, 26, has been charged with two counts of being the owner of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury on September 27 last year.

He is also charged with being the owner of a dog dangerously out of control.

It is alleged that his dog, named Max, was dangerously out of control at Smallbone Recreation Ground in Britwell Road, Didcot and injured two people.

Police announced at the time the dog had been seized and alleged that four people in total were attacked including another dog.

Jofirisi, of Berkeley Road, Newbury, is now due to stand trial at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 5.
