Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been enjoying some grand days out.
Our latest weekly theme for members was ‘a grand day out’ and they sent in snaps from a wide variety of locations - including quite a few from the seaside.
Stately homes were also featured and photos of the local countryside.

There were plenty of strong contenders for photo of the week but in the end we chose this fun image taken by Wendy Meagher.
Kirtlington Quarry is not a well-known location for a grand day out but it’s a interesting woodland setting for a group of friends trying out their cameras.
Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
A selection are chosen to be featured in the Oxford Mail and one picture is selected as photo of the week.
The next theme is ‘timeless Oxfordshire’.
