Three areas of Oxfordshire have been labelled as some of the best commuter cities and towns to live outside of London in the south of England.
A survey conducted by the Telegraph, with the help of Savills Estates, gathered data on the 100 most popular stations by passenger footfall within 90 minutes of London, which require no change of trains to reach the capital.
Affordable housing, school Ofsted ratings, green space, the reputation of pubs and restaurants, along with ticket and travel time based on information from National Rail suggested that Oxford, Didcot and Banbury are some of the places to live.

Out of the 100 places, Oxford was ranked 88th, Didcot was 90th and Banbury was 97th.
Other places that made their way onto the list in the Thames Valley area include High Wycombe, Amersham and Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire while Slough, Maidenhead, Reading, Burnham, Newbury, Bracknell and Twyford in Berkshire also made the cut.
