Two Oxford city councillors have been enjoying a free swimming offer at an outdoor pool in the city.
Linda Smith, cabinet member for housing, joined Chewe Munkonge, cabinet member for leisure, at Hinksey Outdoor Pool earlier this week.
Ms Smith said it was "wonderful" to join Mr Munkonge and "so many other people" for a "balmy 28 degrees warm swim".
The pool is offering free lane swimming sessions from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm every weekday this week.
The pool reopened on Monday, April 8, with a temporarily reduced lane swimming timetable for early April.
The free sessions do not require any booking and heated showers are available before and after swimming.
