The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court

CHARLENE BOYLE, 38, of John Morris Road, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to entering a property in Henry Taunt Close, Headington, on February 29 this year which was under a contravention of closure order made at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 22 this year. She was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months. There was a victim surcharge for £26.

HARRISON FINCH-ALFORD, 19, North Way, Steventon, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words/behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment/alarm/distress in Queens Street, Oxford on October 1 last year as well as one count each of assault by beating and damaging a police van cage by spitting on the doors. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £125. There were no other orders for costs.

BARYR TIDBURY, 46, of Mendip Heights, Didcot, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Church Way, Oxford on September 14 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.

IONICA STEFAN, 32, of Landsdowne Road, Ilford, pleaded guilty to stealing cosmetics and clothing from Sainsburys in Oxford on February 21 this year to the value of £1,024.65.  They were given a community order to complete 10 days of rehabilitation activity and 40 hours of unpaid work. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

KIAH HUTH, 28, of Ramsons Way, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified in Abingdon on January 26 this year. They were fined £120 and has six penalty points added to their driving record. There were court costs of £85.

TIMOTHY LEE, 44, of North Hinksey Village, Oxford, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for testing on March 2 in Abingdon after being suspected of having committed a road traffic offence. He was given a community order to complete 40 hours of unpaid work. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, reduced by 20 weeks. There were court costs of £85.

KIM MCFARLANE, 43, of Bayswater Road, Headington, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle while supervising a learner driver when under the influence of alcohol, 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She was fined £114 and had 10 penalty points added to her licence. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £46.
