The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

MATEUSZ KOWZAN, 39, of Broadway, Didcot, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified in Brock Lane, West Hagbourne on November 11 last year as well as driving without third party insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 38 months and jailed for eight weeks. There were no orders for costs.

STUART BABBS, 37, of Bramshaw Gardens, Watford, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating on July 26 last year in Didcot. He was ordered to pay a £400 fine and compensation of £150. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £160.

ROBERT CHURCHWARD, 36, of Dirac Place, Didcot, pleaded guilty to remaining on/entering a premise in contravention of a closure order – namely Miller Place, Steventon which was put on the order on February 21 at Oxford Magistrates’ Court. Churchward entered the property on March 15. He was fined £120. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.

JAMES HERITAGE, 22, of Mary Ellis Way, Witney, pleaded guilty to failing to comply without reasonable excuse with the requirements of a community order made by Westminster Magistrates Court on January 30, 2020. He failed to attend planned unpaid work appointments on January 11 and January 18, 2023. He had failed to maintain contact since April 21, 2021 and failed to notify his change of address. He was fined £660. There were no other orders for costs.

CHRISTOPHER BROCK, 49, of Hart Place, Bicester, pleaded guilty to guilty to failing to comply without reasonable excuse with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 16, 2023. He missed planned officer appointments on November 23 and December 6, 2023. He was fined £40. There were no other orders for costs.

MARCUS BONE, 49, of Boshers Close, Cholsey, pleaded guilty to guilty to failing to comply without reasonable excuse with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 26, 2021. He missed unpaid work sessions on June 26, June 27 and July 3, 2023. He as fined £!50. There were no other orders for costs.

ALI MOURSY, 22, of Horspath Driftway, Headington, pleaded guilty to guilty to failing to comply without reasonable excuse with the requirements of a community order made by Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 25, 2023 by failing to attend office appointments on October 31 and November 7, 2023. He was jailed for six weeks due to his ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’. There were no other orders for costs.
