Two Slade Park Fire Station cadets have been promoted after completing their crew manager assessments.
Macourley and Dylan have been promoted to cadet crew manager after the assessments.
The Oxfordshire-based youngsters were evaluated on their leadership in ladder and pump drills, followed by delivering lectures on fire service equipment.
Praised for their proficiency and knowledge, they did well in a subsequent interview, impressing their instructors.
Oxfordshire has six fire cadet units across the county, which offer young adults aged 12-18 the chance to learn about the fire service and potentially become fire fighters.
Cadets learn how to use equipment such as ladders, pumps, and breathing apparatus, and are trained to rescue and taught about the science of fire.
