A school's annual 10k run is scheduled to take place this Sunday, March 24.

The Treehouse School's race, which starts from the Cholsey Recreation Ground at 10am, has been planned by a team of volunteers from the school and the village.

Runners of different abilities can choose between the 10k or 5k routes, both blending road and trail routes and offering views of the Cholsey area.

The 'Bunny Run' will also be available for younger participants, which involves multiple laps around the recreation ground with a medal awarded at the end.

Trophies are awarded to the first in each category in the 10k as well as the fastest male and female in the 5k.

This year is expected to see a near record number of participants take part.

For those who haven't registered yet, sign-ups will be open from 8am on the day of the race.

The entrance fee is £28 for the 10k and £25 for the 5k route, while the children's Bunny Run is priced at £5.

In an endeavour to promote the school's eco-ethos, runners participating in the 5k and 10k events will have the option to either receive a T-shirt or have a tree planted on their behalf.
