The pub has been stocking Mr Clarkson’s beer since last year so staff were pleasantly surprised to see the television celebrity make an appearance.

A spokesman for the Bullingdon Arms said: “It's great that everyone can come and enjoy what we offer at The Bullingdon.

“We support local breweries so stocking his Hawkstone beer was a bonus.”

Mr Taylor’s gig proved popular as he announced he will be returning to the Glee Club at the Bullingdon next month for a further show on Friday, April 19.

Mr Clarkson has a notable business in Oxfordshire with Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington which has found fame since Prime Video’s Clarkson Farm series.

The documentary, which originally aired in June 2021, is now in its third season and has been a big hit with audiences all over the world.

Prime Video’s show follows the day-to-day life on the farm whilst Mr Clarkson is still appearing on UK television screens as the host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
