AN assault case has been sent to Oxford Crown Court after it was alleged a man kicked his girlfriend in the face.
Tyrone Holmes-Smith, 37, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday (March 15) charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on March 11 this year.
It was heard that Holmes-Smith was allegedly ‘aggressive and abusive’ all day before ‘slapping’ the woman and ‘dragging her into the garden by her hair’.

The court he had allegedly kicked in the face as well.
The defendant denied the offence and the case will now be sent Oxford Crown Court for a hearing on April 12.
Holmes-Smith, of Blackburn Walk, Bicester, will remain remanded in custody until his next hearing.
