Blenheim Palace has a host of events and activities planned for Easter weekend.

There is set to be an appearance from the Easter Bunny and a range of Easter-themed activities on offer at the Woodstock venue from March 29 to April 1.

There will be circus skills workshops, fairground rides, mini golf, face painting, and balloon modelling.

There will also be a dress-up tent, the chance to have a go at archery, and an egg trail.

The palace has teamed up with luxury chocolatier Hotel Chocolat for a giant Easter egg hunt.

The palace said: "Parents can keep their little hoppers busy as they become egg-finding eggs-perts answering the Easter-themed questions scattered across the Blenheim Palace grounds."

Hotel Chocolat's 'Chocmobile' will also be parked on site, serving their 'velvetised' drinking chocolates, a range of coffee and tea, and its award-winning Jersey milk cacao nib infused 'Ice Cream of the Gods' from March 29 to April 12.

Between March 29 and April 14, families can take part in the 'How to Train Your Dragon' trail, an interactive experience based on the popular children’s book series by Cressida Cowell.

This activity will take place at Adventure Play, which the palace said is "the biggest family-themed attraction" in its history.

It covers an area larger than a football pitch and "celebrates the rich heritage" of the palace.
