He appeared in Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (March 14) for a plea and trial preparation hearing but told the judge he had been unable to obtain representation,
Cannon, of Gainsborough Green, said: “At the moment I can’t afford legal representation and I’ve been very ill over the last two weeks.”
The court heard he is speaking to a solicitor on Monday and hopes to obtain legal aid. The case has been adjourned until March 27.
