A main A-road in Oxfordshire will be closed for a "number of hours" for investigation work after a crash, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to the A44 between the Chipping Norton turn off the Enstone turn off at around 8am after a collision
The incident caused the road to be closed in both directions as police have started crash investigation works.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "The A44 is closed in both directions between Enstone and Chipping Norton following an earlier accident.
"The road is set to be closed for a number of hours so we would advise motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes."

There continue to be heavy delays in the area, according to traffic wires.
An AA update reads: "Road closed due to crash investigation work on A44 Oxford Road both ways from the Chipping Norton turn off to the Enstone turn off."
Bus driver, Robert Knight said: "We got stuck for nearly an hour this morning due to an accident on the A44 near Enstone.
"Firstly, I hope everyone involved is okay. I'm sorry to those using the S3 this morning who had their journeys severely disrupted, unfortunately it's beyond my control."
