A 21-year-old man was arrested for drugs supply and weapon-related offences after concerns were raised about the use of a vulnerable man's home.
Thames Valley Police officers from the Oxford Neighbourhood Policing Team went to an address in East Oxford yesterday (Thursday, March 7) after a partner agency reported concerns for a vulnerable male.
A man from Reading was arrested at the address.
Police said a significant amount of suspected drugs were seized along with a number of knives.
The man remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
A closure notice has been authorised for the property which lasts for 24 hours.
It prohibits anyone from being inside the address other than the occupier.
Cuckooing is a term used to describe using a vulnerable adult’s home as a place to store drugs and money.
