An Oxford museum is set to hold a day designed to welcome those with additional access needs or those who want a more relaxed atmosphere.
The Story Museum's Access Friendly Day will take place on Saturday, March 16 and is free to families with additional access needs.
Kelly Codling-Bray, The Story Museum’s access and inclusion co-ordinator said: "We’re extremely excited about the forthcoming Access Friendly Day; we’ve put together a brilliant range of events that are specially adapted for those with additional needs."
The event promises a range of experiences including a chance to experiment with Eye Mine.
Eye Mine is a software that allows individuals to play Minecraft without a keyboard or mouse.
Ms Codling-Bray continued: "Visitors will get the chance to try out Eye Mine, created by the inclusive technology company Special Effect."
She added: "In our Enchanted Library, there will be the opportunity to see a new authorship project, where young people working with artists and theatre maker Jules Head and Lottie Smith, have devised different ways write or draw their own story in response to a landscape."
The day includes a relaxed morning story session, an open-door, any-age, policy in the under-fives area and screenings of family-friendly films as part of the Oska Bright Film Festival from 2pm.
Tickets are available on the Story Museum website.
