A leisure destination in Banbury is celebrating Mother's Day with a range of activates and pop-ups.

Lock29 offerings on Saturday, March 9, will include a children-targeted Jam Jar Flower Workshop, provided by the team at Flora & Fauna.

This hands-on experience is an opportunity for children to create heartfelt, unique gifts for mothers, grandmothers, or any special woman in their lives.

Lock29 also plans to offer free face painting in the afternoon, promising fun for all ages.

The pop-up shops, part of the weekend's festivities, will be offering an array of Mother’s Day gifts.

Visitors will be able to explore ethical clothing at Flower Funky, artful confections by Anabelle's Patisserie, bespoke flower arrangements from Flora and Fauna Florals, unique finds at Just Luv It, and home pieces from Miranda Thomas Design.

Lock29 manager, Stuart McGregor, said: "We have some brilliant independent businesses joining our regular traders on Saturday 9th March, all of whom offer something perfect for Mother’s Day."

Throughout the weekend, Lock29 will host viewings of the Six Nations matches.

Lock 29 are inviting people to "come and cheer on your team in a vibrant atmosphere, making it a weekend to remember".

They have also invited visitors to complete their day at Lock29 by enjoying a meal either before or after the workshop.
