Police have released new CCTV images relating to a violent disorder prior to an Oxford United game last year.

The incidents occurred in the Boundary pub in the St Mary’s Butts area of Reading on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, where a group of men engaged in a fight.

This took place prior to Oxford United’s trip to Reading in League One which saw the two sides play out a 1-1 draw.

Thames Valley Police said the group of men had walked down Hosier Street from the direction of the Hexagon Theatre before entering The Boundary where they fought with other men in the pub.

More than 30 people were arrested since the incident but Thames Valley Police reissued their appeal on Thursday afternoon with fresh CCTV pictures.

Thames Valley Police is making a fresh release of CCTV images of men officers would like to speak to as they may have vital information regarding incidents of public order in Reading.

Investigating officer Sergeant Richard Noone, based at Reading police station, said: “I would like to thank the public for their support so far and for the information they have provided as it has greatly assisted the investigation.

“We are continuing to appeal for information regarding the public order incidents in Reading on December 12.

“We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the individuals in these images to please get in touch as they may have vital information about this incident.
