A wildlife park which is home to the world's most popular penguin will be hosting a series of events to highlight the range of birds it houses.
Bourton-on-the-Water's Birdland Park & Gardens features a range of birds including parrots, cassowaries, cranes, flamingos, and Spike the penguin.
This year's programme kicks off with a celebration for feathered mums in March for Mother's Day.
April promises Easter festivities like egg-themed talks, shows, a quiz trail, and potentially some new arrivals at the park.
Over the summer the events will include a "Penguin Celebration" and "Birds Behaving Badly" event.
The fun continues into the autumn, with October half term marking "Trick or Tweet Week".
Visitors will have the chance to explore bird-themed myths and legends, finding out why owls are considered wise, learning more about the legend of the phoenix, and discovering which bird call the ancient Romans believed meant imminent death.
The park also has a new café named The Nest, which was opened last year by rugby World Cup winner, Phil Vickery.
Visitors can enjoy a selection of sandwiches and salads, or opt for something warm like potatoes or rice with toppings like pulled pork, beef chilli, or halloumi.
The food is supplied by Creed, where Mr Vickery, 47, now works.
For additional information on the park’s year-round events, visit the Birdland website or call 01451 820480.
Birdland Park and Gardens opens at 10am each day, with tickets costing £11.95 for adults and £8.95 for children.
