Grandpont Towpath is closed today due to flooding, Oxford City Council has announced.
Sharing pictures of the closure via X (formerly Twitter), the city council informed residents of the closure, also urging pedestrians and cyclists not to enter flooded areas or standing water and find an alternative route.
A link to the city council's website with more information on other flooding related closures was also shared.

On Friday (February 9) the city council announced that the towpath at Fiddlers Island towards Botley Road was closed due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall.
The path west of Folly Bridge was flooded and the Seacourt Park and Ride extension is was also temporarily closed.
