Dramatic pictures show the aftermath of a motorway lorry smash which left a driver injured.
Fire crews rushed to the M40 after a large goods vehicle hit a car between the Cherwell Valley and Banbury junctions.
The crash yesterday (Wednesday, February 7), which was attended by crews from Bicester, Kidlington, and Banbury fire stations, left the roof and front of the Toyota with significant damage.

The driver escaped with minor injuries, according to incident commander and crew manager Dave Horle.
“As you can see from the photos there was a significant impact, luckily the driver was wearing their seatbelt and escaped with only minor injuries”, he said.
The hard shoulder was closed for a short duration by National Highways while fire crews made the scene safe and administered first aid.
