A fishing club is looking to fill several vacancies ahead of the start of the 2024 season.
Farmoor Fly Fishing Club, with a limit set at 250 members, has a several open slots due to illnesses among the group.
The club is based at Darlow Lake in Stanton Harcourt, the cheapest fly fishing venue in Oxfordshire, with the initial membership cost at £190, in addition to a joining fee.
The club provides a 26-acre fishing site which is equipped with a lodge, toilets, boats, and tea making facilities.
Types of fish often caught at the site include brown, rainbow, and sparctic trout.
A fly tying club meets weekly and is open to all members free of charge.
The club communicates with members through its monthly newsletter.
