Five students from a Headington sixth form have received offers from either Cambridge University or Oxford University.
Cheney Sixth Form's Alec Stacey's offer is to study Anglo Saxon, Norse, and Celtic studies at Cambridge, while Rachel Goodrich Jones and Lola Pesskin have offers to read English Literature at Cambridge.
Ms Pesskin is currently studying History, French, and English while Ms Goodrich Jones is looking forward to the "interesting challenge of studying medieval literature."
The Oxford offers were for Reem Alfayez, who will study French and Linguistics at Worcester College, and Oliver Summerfield who will study Politics, Philosophy and Economics at St Catherine’s College.
Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Hackett, said: "We are really excited to see our Year 13 students making plans for their next steps.
"Cheney has supported well over one hundred students through the UCAS process.

"We have only just passed the deadline for applications but most students applied early and have already received some offers.
"In fact, 27 of this year’s applicants have already heard from all five of their choices.
"There are many hours of learning and revising to be done over the coming months but we look forward to another results day when we can congratulate our leavers on their results and university places."
The sixth form said: "We commend all of our Year 13 applicants who have offers from universities across the UK."
