After a four year hiatus, Wallingford’s Pancake Day Race will return this year on Tuesday, February 13.
The event is taking place between 10am and 12pm in the town centre, at the Market Place. Children and adults are encouraged to join in by Wallingford Town Council.
Children's races will begin at 10.30am and the adult's race at 11am. Participants need only a frying pan to enter and can fundraise prior to the event for a charity of their choice.

South Oxfordshire District Council has confirmed that the Market Place will be closed to all traffic from 10am to 12pm, as will St Martin’s Street and St Mary’s Street from the junction with High Street to St Leonard's Square.
Wallingford Town Council has also confirmed that security will be servicing diversions in place.
The race last look place in February 2020 and has since not been held due to the coronavirus pandemic and organisers being pre-occupied with other projects.
