Discovery Days are well underway at Didcot Railway Centre this month, with visitors undertaking guided tours and explorations of historical locomotives.
Discovery Days allow guests to explore the 21-acre living museum and step back through almost two centuries of Great Western Railway’s history. Trains do not run on these days, providing the opportunity to get up and close.

Volunteer and photographer Frank Dumbleton said: "On a guided tour last Saturday (February 3), youngsters from Wantage assisted centre volunteer Dave Beeley in placing signs on the historical engines which inform other guests that work is being conducted on the engine and that it would be dangerous to move it."
Discovery Days continue next week on Thursday (February 15) and Friday (February 16) and Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February.
