Police are turning to the public in their bid to track down a wanted man on the run who has been missing for several months after failing to appear at court.
Thames Valley Police issued an appeal on Wednesday for the public’s help in tracing David Holland from Banbury.
He is wanted on recall to prison for breaching his licence conditions and for failure to appear at court in Oxford.
David Holland is wanted by Thames Valley Police
Holland, aged 54, did not appear at Oxford Crown Court in September 2023 and officers are appealing for information as to his whereabouts.
He has been described by Thames Valley Police as being six feet tall and of medium build.
Thames Valley Police also said Holland has short grey hair and brown eyes. He has a Newcastle accent, a pierced left ear and tattoos on his arms, police added.
PC Nathan Davis, who is based at Banbury police station, said: “Officers have been searching for Holland for several months after he did not appear at court.
“I am appealing to anybody who knows of his whereabouts to please contact Thames Valley Police on 101 or via our website, quoting the reference number 43230395497.
“If you see him, please do not approach him but contact us on 999."
Police guidance states the public will not be in trouble for wasting officers' time with regards to missing people.
