Six Oxfordshire establishments have been handed maximum food hygiene scores by the Food Standards Agency.

In South Oxfordshire, The Biker Bean at Nicholls House in Thame Road, Chinnor, Starbucks at Long Crendon Road, Thame and the community café in Market Place in Henley all received five-out-of-five scores following inspections on January 11, January 15 and January 26.

Turkish restaurant Zigana in Wantage Road, Didcot, also received a score of five after its inspection on January 12.

In Vale of White Horse, children’s amusement centre Snakes and Ladders in Renshaw Industrial Estate and Mayott House Café, in Ock Street, both in Abingdon, received maximum scores after their assessments on January 11 and January 18.

In South Oxfordshire, 53 per cent of 282 establishments have maximum ratings. Two have scores of zero. 68 per cent of 190 restaurants, cafes and canteens have top scores in Vale of White Horse.
