An envelope filled with cash found by a member of the public has been returned to its owner.
The money was found in Abingdon town centre on Thursday, January 11 and handed to neighbourhood police officers.
The owner has since collected the money after contacting the police.
Police said the owner needed to give specific details in order to collect the envelope.
A Thames Valley Police statement said: "Earlier in the week, the Abingdon neighbourhood team put an appeal out in an attempt to reunite some money that had been handed to us with its rightful owner.
"We are pleased to say the owner got in touch and has now collected their money.
"Thank you for those that shared our original post and also to the member of the public who found it and handed it in."
