A driver has been arrested after testing positive for cocaine only five days after being stopped for the same thing.
Officers with the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing unit stopped the vehicle near the A34 at Kidlington after noticing its MOT expired in September.
The driver then failed a roadside drugs wipe for cocaine and was arrested.
It transpired that the same person had been arrested five days earlier for the same offence.
Thames Valley Police are now awaiting two blood test results.
The force shared images on social media of the positive cocaine swipe today (Thursday, January 18).
Officers can test for cannabis and cocaine at the roadside, and screen for other drugs including ecstasy, LSD, ketamine and heroin at a police station.
