Miss Oxford missed out on a prize at this weekend's Miss England competition.
Lyndsay Fayle, who was selected to represent the city by Oxford Mail readers, finished out of the top three in the 50-strong field.
However, she was shortlisted in the top 10 for the Pretty Polly Lovely Legs round.
Competition organiser Angie Beasley said: "Miss Oxford certainly has a great pair of legs."
Miss Derby took the overall crown, with size-16 Miss Surrey and Miss Norwich in silver and bronze positions respectively.
