Residents can help themselves to free food tomorrow and most of next week thanks to an initiative to tackle waste.
Cherwell Collective is distributing surplus food from supermarkets that over-ordered for Christmas.
The community food project works in and around Oxford to educate the community to reduce food waste and increase wellbeing.
Director and founder Emily Connally said: "The basic idea is to try and save as much surplus as possible by directly distributing it to the public during this very wasteful period, starting Christmas Eve and going through the first week of January.

"We partner with local shops, Oxford Food Hub, and Savona Foodservice who not only share surplus but also loan vehicles and drivers for collections."
Hundreds of households have been visiting Kidlington's Exeter Hall every day.

Yesterday the not-for-profit organisation distributed about 15 tonnes of surplus food.
Last year it had 2,000 visitors and distributed 72 tonnes, including frozen turkeys and salmon en croute, during one week between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
Cherwell Collective runs Cherwell Larder, which feeds more than 1,000 people a week, Harvest @ Home which provides basic garden supplies and guidance for people to grow their own food and Climatarian Kitchen which offers cooking courses, meal kits and ready meals made from surplus food.
Food is available free or a small donation if you can afford it at Exeter Hall in Kidlington from 11am tomorrow.
