The Chipping Norton Fire Station held a Christmas Day open doors event.
The 'fabulous' event, a first for the station, saw people bringing food donations, volunteering to prepare drinks, and even dropping in for a chat.
The fire service said that The Chippy Larder provided a "generous donation of goods" for the event.
Taking to social media, a spokesman for The Chipping Norton Fire Station said: "Thank you to the community of Chipping Norton for the amazing spirit yesterday (December 25) at our Christmas open doors day.
"We had people volunteering their time to help with making the drinks, people popping in with donations of food, and lovely folk dropping in for a chat."
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service praised the connection between the service and community.
On social media it stated: "Great Christmas Day at Chipping Norton Fire Station yesterday (December 25).
"This is what we love about our fire service - the close connection with our communities."
