A Cherwell business has been handed top marks for its food hygiene following an inspection.
The Dashwood in Kirtlington was given five stars out of five after the assessment was conducted on December 13 by the Food Standards Agency.
According to the agency’s website, the venue scored a “very good” standard in 'management of food safety' and 'hygienic food handling' and a “good” standard in 'cleanliness and condition of facilities and building'.

The Food Standards Agency conducts assessments in Cherwell in partnership with Cherwell District Council – the lower tier authority for the area.
The Dashwood is a three-star hotel at the junction of Heyford Road, Church Lane and South Green.
Of Cherwell's 221 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 165 (75 per cent) have ratings of five.
Only one has a rating of zero.
