An e-commerce platform has launched with a charitable mission to aid animals in need.
Teddy Rescue sells personalised teddy bears and will donate 10 per cent of proceeds to independent animal rescues across the UK.
A recent RSPCA report revealed a rise in animal abandonment in Oxfordshire of almost 17 per cent, a three year high.
Co-founder of Teddy Rescue, Chris Moorhouse, said: "Our aim is to provide essential financial support to these local independent organisations, helping them manage the growing number of animals in their care during these challenging times.
"We want to offer our customers a meaningful way of gift-giving, while also contributing to a cause close to our hearts – animal welfare.
"Each teddy bear sold is essentially, two gifts in one."
Customers can customise their teddy bears with a variety of designs, creating unique and thoughtful presents.
The website also features stories of animal rescues positively impacted by the donations.
Mr Moorhouse added: "We believe in transparency and connection.
"Our customers should see the direct impact of their support. It’s about building a community that cares."
