The King Alfred’s Academy Choir will be performing a Christmas carol concert at the Rivus retirement village in Wantage on Thursday, December 14.

Run in conjunction with Green and Co Estate Agents, choir members aged four to 18 will perform to an audience of at least 50.

The audience will be made of residents at the retirement village, friends, family and other members of the community.

The concert will be starting at 5pm.

Helen Wilkinson, head of new homes at Green and Co said: “As a local estate agent we help with community events and we are the selling agent for apartments at the Rivus village for over 55s.

Oxford Mail: King Alfred’s Academy Choir is comprised of schoolchildren of all ages“This performance is really snowballing, it’s becoming a big event. We thought it would be a lovely idea for the residents to see a turnout of performers sing for them.

"We’re encouraging people to come down on the day, space providing.”
