Banbury's shopping centre will provide free parking every Sunday in all of its car parks.

Castle Quay Shopping Centre will provide free parking every Sunday from December 3, 2023, to February 1, 2024.

The initiative aims to encourage more visitors to enjoy the town's offerings during the festive season.

The centre has also arranged several attractions including a Mini-Winter Wish Land pop-up where children can post their Christmas wishes for free.

A giant snow globe and accessible-friendly sleigh will also be available to enhance the family experience.

Visitors can also enjoy the Waterfront's diverse leisure activities, including a premium cinema, mini-golf, an adventure climb arena and dining experiences from Pizza Express, Nando’s and The Greenhouse and Terrace.

Oliver Wren, centre director at Castle Quay Shopping Centre, said: "This is a great offer and should make visiting our town centre even more convenient and appealing to all.

"Shopping local can make a big difference to keeping Banbury businesses going, our town centre thriving and our local community prospering.

"We really hope people take advantage of this free parking initiative across December and January and enjoy everything we have to offer."
