A car overturned in Oxford last night as it came to rest on its side near a 20mph sign.
The grey vehicle partially blocked the road in Blackbird Leys and caused drivers to step out onto the tarmac to assess the situation.

A motorist reached out to the Oxford Mail with information about the crash. The incident appears to have happened around 10pm last night, Tuesday, November 28.

One eyewitness, Colin, said: "A speeding guy in a Skoda came towards Blackbird Leys at at least 40mph and flipped his car when he swerved round a bus.

"This led to six stationery cars in total being damaged including my white Mercedes.
"My son helped the gentleman out of his car and made sure he was ok."

Thames Valley Police were approached for further information about the incident but declined to comment.
