An Abingdon eatery has been awarded the title of Best Indian Takeaway in Oxfordshire.
Azeem, in Radley Road, won the award at this year’s Euro Asia Curry Awards.
The annual event, now in its seventh year, recognises the UK's finest curry houses, with around 500 businesses nominated this year.
There were around 50 national and regional awards handed out at a ceremony in Essex on November 15.
Shorif Kahn, Bangladeshi chef and founder of the awards, said: "The UK is home to some fantastic curry restaurants and takeaways and the awards are a way to give something back to the brilliant people behind them."
He added: "2023 has been a great year for the country’s curry industry, with business generally back to pre-pandemic levels after a few very tough years."
