Emergency services responded to an incident involving a lorry which jack-knifed on the M40 northbound near Bicester during rush hour yesterday afternoon.
Crews from Bicester and Kidlington fire stations were first on the scene, between J9-10 after 4.30pm.
Crews reported that no one had been injured and.
After making the scene safe, they handed over to police and highways teams to arrange recovery of the vehicle.
Two of three northbound M40 lanes were closed for much of Friday evening, November 17. They were not expected to reopen until 9pm.
