EDWARD SAXTON, 39, of Cherwell Avenue, Kidlington pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. On September 23, he stole quantity of goods to the value of £188 belonging to Sainsbury’s on Oxford Road in Kidlington having left the store making no attempt to pay. On October 7 he stole quantity of goods to the value of £222.45 belonging to Sainsbury’s on Oxford Road in Kidlington having left the store making no attempt to pay. On October 10 he stole quantity of goods to the value of £103.90  belonging to Sainsbury’s on Oxford Road in Kidlington having left the store making no attempt to pay. On October 11, he stole quantity of goods to the value of £157.10 belonging to Sainsbury’s on Oxford Road in Kidlington having left the store making no attempt to pay. Saxton was given a community order for monthly reviews and drug rehabilitation non-residential with monthly reviews. Exclusion not to enter for Sainsbury's, Oxford Road, Kidlington for 4 months.

MAX MCTAGGART, 40, of Medina Road, Tyseley, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to exposure and possession of cannabis. On August 29 in Banbury he intentionally exposed your genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress  On August 29 in Abingdon, he had a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B, in his possession.  McTaggart was given a community order of alcohol abstinence and monitoring until February 24, 2024. He must comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments, or to participate in any activity as required by the responsible officer up to a maximum of 30 days. He must pay £150.00 in compensation. The magistrates ordered the property to be forfeited and destroyed. No separate penalty.

JAMES MCDOWELL, 33, of Evenlode, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving without third party insurance. On September 27 in Banbury, he was driving a Mercedes on Bolton Road without third party insurance. McDowell was fined £120 and given 6 points.

DAVID HOLLIGAN, 50, of Breakspear Close, Grove, Wantage, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The magistrates imposed a community order of drug rehabilitation for 9 months and mental health treatment for 6 months. He must comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments or to participate in any activity as required by the responsible officer up to a maximum of 25 days. He was fined £108.00.

JONATHAN BENTLEY, 39, of No Fixed Abode, Bicester, pleaded guilty to theft from a shop and possession of heroin. On April 21 in Bicester, he was in possession of a quantity of diamorphine, a controlled drug of class A. On September 5, he stole bottles of spirit, to the value of £147.00, belonging to Sainsbury's in Bicester. Bentley was given a community order of drug rehabilitation and mental health treatment for 9 months. The drugs were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
