The jury in the case of a jilted husband accused of masterminding an attack on his wife was discharged today, after failing to reach a verdict.
Michael License, formerly of Witney, was accused of paying Everton Bailey and another man to beat up Wendy License outside her Dorset home.
License, 55, of Brockworth, Gloucestershire, and Mr Bailey, 41, of The Chase, Derby, denied conspiracy to inflict grievous bodily harm. The jury at Bournemouth Crown Court had cleared Mr Bailey.
