A man was today cleared of conspiring to commit grievous bodily harm on a former Oxfordshire woman.
HGV driver Everton Bailey, 41, of The Chase, Derby, denied being paid to beat up Wendy License, formerly of Witney but now living in Poole, on the orders of her ex-husband, Michael License.
Jurors at Bournemouth Crown Court will today continue to deliberate in the case of License, 55, of Brockworth, Gloucestershire.
He denies the same charge.
