A woman's purse was stolen in the TK Maxx store car park, in Banbury, shortly before midday today when a man grabbed the woman, in her late 20s, and took her purse.
The mugger was described as white, in his early 20s, with ginger hair.
Pc Mike Bromell said: "I am interested in speaking to two elderly people who were sat in a dark grey car and spoke briefly to the woman after the incident happened."
