Filming has started on the third series of the Oxford TV detective drama Lewis - starring Kevin Whately.
Four more two-hour episodes of the Inspector Morse spin-off have been commissioned following the success of the second series earlier in the year.
ITV spokesman Lisa Vanoli said filming began yesterday and would continue until November.
The new episodes will be screened early next year.
