Poundland has confirmed when its new store will be opening in Bicester.
The company plans to move from its smaller store on Sheep Street and relocate to the larger Wilko store in the Market Square with the intention of opening this Saturday.
A spokesman said the shop is moving from its smaller store because the larger site at Wilko is capable of offering Poundland’s widest range of clothing, homewares and groceries.

In addition to the 20 former Wilko stores Poundland had already converted, the discount retailer will be opening another nine stores across the country this weekend – including the Bicester store.
The Bicester store will have grocery, household and general merchandise ranges found in every Poundland store.
The extended clothing range, which sees Poundland offer more kidswear than before, also feature new licensed products including Harry Potter, Gremlins, Tom& Jerry and the Moomins, alongside popular Disney, Warner & Star Wars ranges.
Poundland’s retail director Darren Kay said: “We’re moving at pace because we know how important opening these stores are to local communities.
“While stores will get more extensive refits in next year, we’re proud that another nine former Wilko stores will begin their Poundland journeys this coming weekend.”
