Flytippers blocked the road to an historic beauty spot with illegally dumped waste.
Tree cuttings, wood, bags and other rubbish was dumped on Dragon Hill Road, partially blocking the approach to White Horse Hill and Dragon Hill in Uffington.
The council is asking the public if they saw anyone dump the rubbish which was left in the way of visitors to the prehistoric hill figure.
Fly-tipping is a criminal offence.
