Pictures show the scene after a serious crash on the A34 in Oxfordshire.
Emergency services were called out to the collision involving a lorry which has crossed through the central reservation barrier this morning.
The A34 remains closed southbound between the A4183 (Kennington) and the A415 (Abingdon).

One lane also remains also closed on the northbound carriageway.
National Highways said barrier repairs will be ongoing into the afternoon.
There are long delays in both directions.
